Account and signing in

How do I sign in – do I need a password?

No. You enter your email address and receive a six-digit code. The code is valid for 10 minutes and can be used once. You can also sign in with Google or Apple.

A password is optional: under Profile → Account and security you can set one if you'd like to sign in without access to your inbox.

No code arrived? Check your spam folder and the spelling of your address. After several attempts you have to wait 15 minutes.

How do I change my email address?

Profile → Account and security → «Change email». You receive a code at the new address, and your previous address confirms the change by link or code. If you no longer have access to the previous address, the code for the new one is enough – the previous address then gets a notice and can undo the change for 7 days.

Plans, roles, Google/Apple sign-in and payments stay the same. If you can't get into your account at all, support can help via the contact form.

How old do I have to be to use Pickeed?

Pickeed is for people aged 16 and over. To sell tickets (payouts via Stripe), you must be at least 18. Details are in the terms.

App or browser – what's the difference?

Same account, same plans, same data. The iPhone and Android app can also send notifications to your phone, opens invite links directly and adds dates to your calendar. Everything else works the same in the browser – no installation needed.

Planning and inviting

Can guests take part without an account?

Yes. Anyone who opens an invite link can choose «Join without an account» and just enter a name. Guests vote, chat and say what they'll bring – only in that one plan and on that device.

They can create an account at any time later; everything is kept.

What are Time Pick and Idea Pick?

Time Pick finds the date: Pickeed suggests a time when most people can make it (from your availability and, if connected, your calendars). Everyone says «Works» or «Doesn't work» – as soon as enough agree, the date is set.

Idea Pick finds the what: suitable ideas and offers for your group, which you suggest in the chat and vote on. Things that aren't for you (Profile → Preferences) are never suggested.

How do I delete a plan or my account?

Plan: in the plan under ⋯ → «Delete plan» (main organiser only). All members are told; photos are removed immediately.

Account: Profile → «Delete account», confirmed by email. Personal data is deleted; posts in groups remain as «Deleted account». If you're the only organiser of a company with other people, hand over the role first.

Can I download my data?

Yes. Profile → Account and security → «Download my data»: you get a ZIP file with your details, plans, messages and photos (JSON plus images).

Events, tickets and open calls

How do tickets and refunds work?

You buy tickets for public events through the Pickeed checkout (Stripe, with TWINT or card). The seller is the event's organiser – they set the price, cancellation and refund rules and are responsible for them. The confirmation arrives by email; your ticket is on the event page.

If an event is cancelled, the organiser refunds via Stripe. If there's a problem, contact the organiser first; if that doesn't work, use «Report a problem».

How do I report or block someone?

Report: on a message, event, offer or profile, tap ⋯ → «Report». Moderators only see a snapshot of the reported content, never your chat.

Block: in the person's profile → «Block». You'll no longer see each other's messages or be able to invite each other. You manage blocked people under Profile → Account and security.

What are open calls?

With an open call, companies, providers or organisers look for creators, DJs, models and others for an occasion. Matching creators get a notification (at most one email a day, can be turned off) and apply directly. The poster decides and messages applicants – without contact details becoming public.

What is the Travel Guide?

When you plan a trip, the Travel Guide in the plan shows the essentials for the destination: emergency numbers, entry notes, a packing list by type of trip, ideas and tips from other travellers. Pickeed loads the map through its own server – map providers don't see who you are.

Privacy and notifications

Does Pickeed track me?

No. No ad banners, no tracking or advertising cookies, no third-party analytics. Servers and data are in Switzerland. For our own figures we only count totals (e.g. «how many plans this week»), never what a particular person does. Details are in the privacy policy.

How do I set up notifications?

Profile → Notifications: for each type (chat, dates, reminders, bring/tasks, tickets, open calls) you choose push and email. For chat there's «All», «Mentions only» or «None». Account and moderation notices always arrive. Pickeed doesn't send advertising. Quiet hours (10 pm–8 am) hold push until the morning; you can mute individual plans in the plan.
