Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This is a translation for your convenience. In case of differences, the German version applies.
These terms apply to the use of Pickeed on pickeed.com and in the apps. Pickeed is free for private users. Only the company subscription, the event subscription for «Tickets & contribution» and, for providers, the partner subscription are paid (sections 6 and 7); payment is by card via Stripe on pickeed.com. Features may continue to evolve.

E-Mail: info@pickeed.com
2. Service
Pickeed is a platform on which groups plan together: discuss, suggest, vote and record. Pickeed is free for private plans. We strive for reliable operation but cannot promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance and further development may occur.
3. Account
To use Pickeed you need an account with a valid email address. You must be at least 16 years old or have your parents' consent. Keep access to your email account secure – anyone who can use it can sign in to Pickeed. You can delete your account yourself at any time.
4. Content and conduct
You are responsible for the content you enter in plans. In particular, unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or harassing content, spam, sharing other people's personal data without consent, and attempts to bypass security measures or access other people's plans are not allowed. We review reported violations. We may remove content and block accounts if these rules are broken.
You keep the rights to your content. You allow us to store it and display it to the members of the respective plan – solely to provide Pickeed.
5. Invitations and public events
Plans are private by default. Whoever makes a plan public or passes on invitations decides who can see or join it. Personal invitations can be revoked.
6. Company spaces
Companies can use their own space with teams, templates and roles. The price is CHF 9.90 per month per company space, regardless of the number of people. New company spaces can be tested free of charge for 30 days. After that, a subscription is required, which the organisers take out on pickeed.com by card via Stripe (not in the apps). The subscription runs monthly and renews automatically; it can be cancelled at any time to the end of the paid month. Without an active subscription, the company space stays readable, but new plans, invitations and teams are blocked. Pickeed is not registered for VAT; invoices are issued without VAT. Whoever creates a company space confirms that they are authorised to act on behalf of the company.
7. Providers, offers and event contributions
Providers can list offers that are shown to groups matching their plan. Offers are visible as soon as they are published; Pickeed reviews them afterwards and may hide or block offers that violate these terms or applicable law without prior notice. Offers with suspicious links are reviewed by Pickeed before publication. Contracts for offers are concluded directly between the group and the provider; booking and payment do not take place in Pickeed. Pickeed is not a party to the contract and is not liable for providers' services. Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their details and the rights to their images.
In private plans, members settle costs among themselves (e.g. with «Split costs»); Pickeed does not accept any money. Public events sell tickets only through Pickeed checkout (section 7a) or link to a known ticket shop with its own buyer protection (e.g. Eventfrog, Ticketcorner, Eventbrite). Private payment methods such as an IBAN, TWINT number or PayPal link are not allowed for public events; ones entered earlier are no longer shown. Anyone who opens a private celebration to guests from the community describes the programme and rules honestly and may turn guests down.
Anyone who publishes a public event with a ticket price, contribution, payment options or ticket link provides true and complete information, names only themselves or expressly authorised payees and verifies their identity on request. Pickeed reviews the first such event and conspicuous changes before they appear publicly (with a confirmed Stripe account only suspicious links or texts, see section 7a); there is no entitlement to approval. The organisers alone are responsible for the service, cancellation and refunds. In case of suspected fraud or after reports, Pickeed may hide or remove events, payment details and ticket links and block accounts. Upon a lawful request, we disclose existing information (e.g. account, verified name, payment details, log) to law enforcement or other competent authorities.
«Tickets & contribution» (guests from the community, culture, contribution and payment options) requires an event subscription per public event at CHF 9.90 (or EUR 9.90 or USD 9.90) per month; all other features stay free. Without an active event subscription, the details remain saved but are not shown. The organisers take out the subscription on pickeed.com by card via Stripe (not in the apps). It runs monthly, ends automatically after the stated last day of the event at the end of the paid month and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the paid month. If the event is deleted or set back to private, the subscription ends immediately. Pickeed is not registered for VAT; invoices are issued without VAT. As a launch offer, «Tickets & contribution» is free until the date shown in Pickeed; if you subscribe earlier, you only pay after that date.
Providers can take out a partner subscription at CHF 9.90 (or EUR 9.90 or USD 9.90) per month per business profile; the basic listing with a business profile and up to 3 visible offers stays free. With an active partner subscription, up to 20 offers are visible, the offers are highlighted in Picks and shown first among the results, and they can be shown to groups as a recommendation. Recommendations only appear if the offer matches the respective plan (e.g. place, occasion, group size, budget, dietary needs) and are marked as sponsored; there is no entitlement to a particular placement, number of impressions or enquiries. The provider takes out the subscription on pickeed.com by card via Stripe (not in the apps). It runs monthly, renews automatically and can be cancelled at any time to the end of the paid month. Without an active partner subscription, the 3 most recently published offers stay visible; others are hidden but not deleted. As a launch offer, the partner benefits are free for all providers until the date shown in Pickeed; if you subscribe earlier, you only pay after that date. Pickeed is not registered for VAT; invoices are issued without VAT.
7a. Ticket sales via Pickeed checkout
Pickeed is a platform. The seller of the tickets and the event organiser is the organisation of the event; the contract for taking part is concluded between the guest and the organisation. Payment is processed by Stripe as payment service provider. To sell tickets, the organisation opens a Stripe account (Stripe Connect) via Pickeed, confirms its identity and bank account there and accepts Stripe's terms for connected accounts (Stripe Connected Account Agreement). Pickeed receives the payments via Stripe on behalf of the organisation and passes them on after the event.
Guests pay with TWINT or card in Swiss francs, at most CHF 5000 per payment. Seats are reserved for up to 30 minutes while paying. Sales start no earlier than 80 days before the event and require a fixed date. After buying, the guest gets a ticket with QR code in Pickeed, a confirmation from Pickeed and a receipt from Stripe, and becomes a member of the plan (group chat).
To protect guests, Pickeed holds the money and usually pays it out to the organisation's Stripe account 3 days after the end of the event. If guests report within 48 hours after the end that the event did not take place, or if a payment is disputed, Pickeed reviews before paying out and may refund the guests. If misuse is suspected, Pickeed may hold payouts, at most as long as Stripe allows (90 days).
If the organisation or Pickeed cancels an event, all guests automatically get the full ticket price back. Whether guests can otherwise return a ticket is set by the organisation (no returns, or returns up to 7 days or up to 48 hours before the event); the rule is shown on the event page before buying. Tickets that have been used cannot be returned. Depending on the bank or TWINT, the credit takes a few days.
Guests pay exactly the ticket price shown. Stripe's fees are borne by the organisation; they are deducted at payout, also for tickets refunded later (Stripe does not refund its fee). Pickeed may charge its own fee per ticket; it is shown to the organisation in Pickeed before selling and is also deducted at payout. If none is shown, Pickeed charges none.
The organisation holds the event as described, is responsible for the service, permits and any taxes, and supports Pickeed with evidence in case of disputed payments (chargebacks). If a payment is successfully disputed or Pickeed has to refund after a payout, Pickeed may offset the amount against future payouts or reclaim it from the organisation. Pickeed is not the event organiser and is not liable to guests for the event taking place; mandatory statutory claims remain reserved.
Once the organisation's Stripe account is confirmed, events with tickets appear without prior review by Pickeed. Pickeed reviews suspicious links or texts before publication. Pickeed checks events afterwards and may hide them if they breach these terms or fraud is suspected; ticket sales then stop and all guests get their money back.
8. Referrals
You can recommend Pickeed with your personal link from your profile. For every 100 active referrals you receive a one-off reward of CHF 50.– (residence in Switzerland or Liechtenstein) or EUR 50.– (other countries); with 200 active referrals, two rewards.
A referral is active when a person signs up as a new user via your link, has confirmed their email address and has been active in a plan on two different calendar days within 60 days of signing up (e.g. wrote a message, answered Time Pick, created or joined a plan). Only the first referral counts per new account. Your own, existing, deleted or suspended accounts don't count.
We pay the reward by bank transfer, after you have requested it in Pickeed with your name and IBAN and we have checked it – usually within 30 days. Apart from the cash payout during an event campaign (see below), there are no other payment methods and no offsetting. You are responsible for any taxes on the reward.
Event campaigns
At fairs and events, Pickeed occasionally runs event campaigns. If you take part via the link or QR code at the Pickeed stand (or our team adds you), a new sign-up via your personal link during the campaign already counts as an active referral once the new person has created or joined a plan. Before the start and after the end of the campaign, the normal rules apply. Each referral counts only once, and campaign referrals count towards the 100 active referrals. Because many people on site use the same network, we check campaign referrals individually instead of automatically by address.
During an event campaign you take part in, and up to 24 hours after it ends, you can request a due reward in cash at the Pickeed stand instead of by bank transfer. The cash payout is made only in person and against a receipt (place, time, paying team member); afterwards you confirm receipt in Pickeed. As above, the currency depends on your place of residence. If you dispute receipt, we examine the case on the basis of the receipt.
If we suspect abuse during an event campaign – such as sign-ups without real use, duplicate accounts or pressure on visitors – we may not count campaign referrals, end your participation and refuse a cash payout.
In case of abuse – such as fake or duplicate accounts, automated sign-ups or misleading advertising – we may not count referrals, refuse or reclaim payouts and suspend accounts. We may change or end the programme for the future and will announce this in Pickeed at least 30 days in advance. Full sets of 100 active referrals reached by then will be paid out if you request them within 60 days afterwards.
9. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. To the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence, data loss despite customary backups, interruptions, and content of users and providers is excluded.
10. Data protection
How we process data is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may amend these terms. We will announce significant changes in Pickeed in advance. If you continue to use Pickeed afterwards, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction is Einsiedeln (Canton of Schwyz). Mandatory places of jurisdiction for consumers remain reserved.
